About Amie Igou
I have always loved working with color and patterns. While my twin sister lined up our stuffed animals to “teach” in front of a small blackboard, I was building furniture for my Barbie Dolls from small fragments of wood from Dad’s most recent home project and snippets of fabric from Mom’s latest sewing creation. Lots of things in the home décor and interior design industries have changed over the years… but I’m still passionate about working with color and patterns.
Middle Tennessee has been my home since 1974, Murfreesboro since 1978. My husband and I have made Lascassas our home for the past 20 years. My how we are seeing it grow and change. That’s true as all of Rutherford County continues to thrive and people flood to our beautiful state! I am a true Blue fan of my beloved MTSU Raiders, from where I graduated many years ago with my degree in Interior Design. Our only children are a furry Australian Shephard and Border Collie mixed dog, Jazmyn and a gray and white cat, Gracie, who has finally stopped using up lives…. stories for another time.
